Welcome Mr. Barrett!--The church would like to welcome Mr. Bob Barrett as our new pulpit supply. He has been filling in routinely since Gretchen’s departure and now will be with us three Sundays a month. Mr. Barrett has a unique way of engaging the children through his inventive “children’s moments” lessons on Sundays! Everyone has really enjoyed his fresh ideas!
Bob and his family are from Connecticut but are now living in Ark City. He will be travelling over from Cowley County one day throughout the week as well as his scheduled Sundays! Let’s give him a big Caldwell welcome!
Bible Study Wrap-UP!--The women’s bible study has enjoyed their Wednesday night fellowship and study. They are currently reading from the Fruit of the Spirit series which focuses on kindness. The group has 8 attendees and encourages more next session! PYG lessons begin at 6:30 for the kids and women’s study is at 7:00. They will be taking a break over the summer but plan to reconvene in August. More details to come!
Where The Sidewalk Project Ends!--After much anticipation and plenty of work by all involved, the sidewalk project is slated to be finished shortly. Kristin Petrik spearheaded the venture for her senior project by petitioning for donations. People graciously gave enough to relay concrete on the entire parking area that was in much need of repair.
Thanks to all those who donated to this worthy cause. Everyone is ready to put closure to the project and enjoy the beauty and function it adds to the church.
